Typical Chinese restaurant, food is average, always hot (temperature) quick. The delivery is quick. They have dine in area. There not much more to say. Service is super friendly. Price is good. The thai food is o.k. , not as good as a true Thai restaurant.

I can't even begin to tell you how many hairs I have found in my food, in the past. I more recently gave it a second chance, and it was a lot better than before and no hairs!

My boyfriend told me about this place. He had been to the Mo's in Orland park, but since we lived closer to the one in new Lenox that's where we went. This Mo's isn't really visible from the Main Street. We passed it, and had to turn back around. Mo's was completely dead inside. The employees actually had all of the lights turned off in the dining room, and I thought they were closing, but actually had one hour of business left (they close at 10pm.) That probably isn't the greatest idea to turn all of your lights off like because people might think you're closed. I hate to be that bitch that shows up at close wanting half of the menu!! Anywho my boyfriend and I were seated and ordered dinner. Crispy beef caught my eye so I went for it. It was pretty damn good I have to say! Nice and crunchy with a sweet glaze. I was in heaven. I originally wanted to go for salt & pepper smelt, but I'll try that next time! The egg rolls were good as well. I really like the pot stickers. They had a nice grilled texture to the actual dumpling that was really good. I tried my boyfriends Mongolian beef and it was good. I really recommend trying the Virgin piña colada! Omg was it awesome!!!!! I was totally caught off guard by how good that drink was!!! I felt like a beached whale when I left Mo's. Seriously I needed a stretcher or a crane to lift me into my car. #BigBertha #LaneBryant I noticed that there were a few Thai and Japanese dishes on the menu. Maybe I'll check them out! Until next time!

We've only ordered delivery so we can't speak to the dining room. Food was acceptable Chinese takeout, akin to what Liang's used to be. Not the healthiest we've had but an improvement on the rising sun or Panda Express variety. Best Asian we've found in the area is Yucca, too bad they don't offer delivery. Mo's will have to be the fix for now.

I have ordered takeout from here twice and the food was very hot when I got it home. The chicken pad Thai is delicious! The watermelon and strawberry smoothies are very refreshing!

I ordered from this restaurant all the time when I was in middle and high school back when it was primarily a take-out restaurant. I was surprised to see the new renovations when I came in today. In the last few year they expanded from a simple take-out restaurant with just three table to a full restaurant with plenty of room for groups. The service during the lunch hour was okay, however, we had several different waiters throughout the course of our one meal. This normally wouldn't be a big deal but somewhere along the way the soup that we were supposed to receive with our lunch special was lost and we had to request it once we already done with our entree. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch special. It came with chicken fried rice and an egg roll for sides. The food here has not changed a bit since I last came here but that isn't always a good thing... The chicken flavor was dominated by the heavy coating of the breading. It was not enjoyable. The rice was very dry and in my opinion over cooked. I can see why I stopped frequenting this place, even though it was nice to take a stroll down memory lane by eating here again.

Not very good food at a good price. ------- General Tso's chicken platter (lunch plate) || $5.95: This comes with General Tso's chicken, fried rice, an egg roll, and a soup of the day (dine-in only). My SO and I shared this, which was enough to fill up both of us. - General Tso's chicken: Not good. Even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant, this took longer than I thought it would. It also wasn't very hot once we got it, just warm. The breading was not crispy, just thick and kind of soft. The sauce was not spicy at all, and tasted more salty and sweet than savory. I wouldn't order this again. - Fried rice: This was okay. There were bits of chicken in this. - Eggroll: The outside didn't taste crunchy nor hot. The filling was bland. Overall, it just didn't taste fresh nor delicious. - Egg drop soup: This was okay, much better than the chicken. However, I had to ask the waiter for this. I got the menu on my phone and pointed out that it said there is a free soup with a lunch plate, which they seemed to have forgotten. Once I mentioned this, I got the soup soon after. The soup was actually hot, which was nice. It was savory and thick. I would consider getting this again. ------- Strawberry mango smoothie: Sadly, I forgot to mention I wanted boba with this. :( This was good, except it tasted a bit too sweet/fake for me. I suppose you could ask for less sugar. The texture and thickness was on point -- it was well-blended, smooth, and thick. My SO and I split one, and the waitress brought it already split in 2 glasses, which was nice.

If you're in the New Lenox/Frankfort/Mokena area (New Frankena) this is the best Chinese you'll find. It's better than rising sun I've had just most if not all of the usual items and it's all good. I can only speak for the carry out, never dined in but they definitely have some good lunch specials

Tried Mo's for the first time and we were all very pleased. Rising Sun disappointed us last three times and we were turned off on Chinese for a while. Mo's food was fresh, tasty, properly prepared and the staff was extremely friendly and on top of everything. Portions were perfect and the pricing was well in line what we expect. Highly recommend !!!!!

My family have been loyal customers at Mo's resturants . For the first time we ordered carry-out at the New Lenox location and for the first time our Service we had was Very rude. This particular situation was over condiments(I paid full price and received half Chili oil)..And all the response i received was "That's the way it is"....I will never return there again....Even though this situation is so minor but its the lack of Customer care i got...

This place has the worst customer service!!! We ordered dinner tonight at 6pm it was finally delivered at 7:45pm! I called at &pm to find out where it was at, the women told me it was on it's way, which clearly was not true. We live 2 miles away from the restaurant, so unless he was working the food here there is no way it had left. Then finally we go to eat, and YEP you guessed it, WRONG food! When I called the first time they apologized and said they would give us a $5 credit. Oh WOW how kind of you, now that we are starving. When I called telling them it was the WRONG food and I wanted a FULL refund for my family's troubles and starvation issue. They said the "manager" says only if we brought it back!!!! WHAT???? Are they serious?!?!?! So unless you are in the mood to wait for 2 hours to get your food, or not get what you ordered and even be insulted by their lack of responsibility in your troubles then this is the place for you! I myself will NOT return nor recommend this place to anyone. PS We ordered from this place at least 3 times a week and I DID recommend to a lot of my clients and friends. Lost a loyal customer here! Theres another one in Orland they also deliver and I am guessing in a quicker manner.

We haven't been ordering Chinese much lately, although the boyfriend does order sometimes from Dragon Palace because he likes their BBQ pork appetizer, but last night I was in the mood for Chinese. I went to Yelp and actually saw my review from 2010 where I praised the place, so we placed our order promptly. We ordered the crab rangoons--very yummy as I thought back then plus they actually reheated well in the microwave! The BF got the Bar-B-Q pork Cantonese Chow Fun, and he was super happy with it last night and when he reheated it today. I was in the mood for spicy, so I went with the Szechwan chicken. I liked it, but I wish I'd gotten the Kung Pao--there was nothing wrong with what I ordered, I just like Kung Pao sauce better. I'm happy with the reusable plastic containers (perfect for packing a lunch), delivery is quick, and it's just really fun to say I'm ordering from Mo's. I do believe it's the best Chinese place in New Lenox.

No longer like this chinese place after the new management took over. I worked down the street from Mo's and they did have delivery. I do love that about Mo's... however, the past 2 times I have ordered here the service has been horrible. I called in an order last week ordering mongolian beef. After messing up my order, I called hoping to get a refund or some sort of replacement. They have horrible customer service here!! I have a seafood allergy and mentioned it on the phone while placing my order. I asked for fried wontons instead of an egg roll and they gave me crab rangoon. When I called about this and being charged about sweet and sour sauce packets, the lady said she was sorry and hung up. No offer to exchange my food or anything. I was charged 30 cents for 3 packets of sweet and sour sauce ... I have NEVER seen any chinese place charge for sweet and sour sauce packets. Tonight, I tried to give Mo's another chance but ordering egg foo young there for the first time. The food was freezing and I was waiting in the lobby for it! The gravy and rice were cold. The egg foo young patties were hot though! I only order egg foo young once in a blue moon, but the patties were huge. I personally like the thin ones. It was tasty though just too thick! Unless the other two chinese places in town go out of business, I won't be back for Mo's.

Stopped in here last week for some take-out and was impressed with the new dining room they have added. It's not over the top or anything, but looks quite comfortable.

I don't think you can find very many decent Chinese restaurants in New Lenox, but I would say this one is pretty tasty. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes pretty authentic. I ordered the seafood fried rice. It had an abundance of seafood and was very tasty. It was nicely cooked and well-seasoned. I also ordered the beef chow fun. It was good, but the noodles were overly cooked so they were crispy, which I don't really like. The portions are big so you'll have plenty of leftovers. They are going to open a new part to their restaurant to accommodate more people.

My only experience with Mo's was jumping on to a group order that my officemates were placing, so this is more of a tip than a review. I just wanted to say that the hot and sour soup is great for soothing a sore throat and the small is a great bargain for $2.50!

I am so impressed with the quality of food at Mo's Chinese Kitchen that I can say it rivals that of some of my favorite Chinatown haunts. Yes, they've messed up a few times when ordering takeout, but the prices are good and the quality of the food is impressive.

There hasn't been anything that I've eaten here that didn't give me a chub. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I am buying a house and one of my requirements was that I was still within delivery range. Let's be honest I'm not getting off my ass to go pick it up. I have one dish that I judge Chinese restaurants on: Mongolian Beef. I don't care if its traditional cuisine or something that some Swede made up I love this stuff and there are only three places within a 45 min radius of me that make it worth repeating. Mo's is number 1. Regardless, the food is great and the service is timely whats not to love.

Sorry, Mo. First time we ordered delivery, we thought we'd come across a good thing. The food was pretty good, reasonably-priced, and enticed us to order again. Second time...not so hot (literally...we had to nuke the food to an edible temperature), but probably because the delivery guy showed up like 40 minutes later than they told us he would. The egg rolls were grease-logged and the beef was gristly. We were turned off, but gave Mo the benefit of the doubt; everyone has an off day every now and then. Third time was the unlucky charm. Food arrived cold again, and I'm still not quite sure how they achieved it, but the breading on the General Tso's chicken was completely separated from the chunks of meat; kind of like a coat that was 3 sizes too big. Blech. No mo' Mo's Chinese Kitchen for us.

Gotta be the best Chinese food in town. Delivery across town for only $3. Great portions. The Sweet & Sour Chicken is features battered, deep-fried all-white chicken chunks. Really great and hot!!

This review is for Mo's 3 in New Lenox.Gotta be the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten..I had ordered there before and it wasn't good,so I thought I would give them a second try.Ordered the seafood comb.delight.The "crab" meat is not even real crab and tastes terrible. So if the crab is phony I'm sure the lobster is too.My wife had the steak kow w/ mixed veg.The meat was tough with big pieces of fat and grizzle in it.Couldn't even chew it.Total garbage! From now on the Mo's in Mokena wiil get all of our business.Totally different food and great quality.(gave it 1 star because I had to,otherwise it would be 0)

Not the friendliest place I have gotten food, but the food is good and the prices are reasonable, I only do take out, not a lot of room to eat inside, besides they have the TV on most of the time, and it's a Chinese station and they sit around watching it, kinda uncomfortable, you get the feeling they're talking about you.

  • Kim B.

Yay! This place is great! Good for both dine in and take out. As a vegetarian, they have a great selection and the food is so good! I am super picky when it comes to Chinese food and this places is consistantly good. Everything from their egg drop soup to the sesame tofu, it's delicious! Most of the staff is really friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
